I hear that StuffIt Expander does the job .. but I may be out of touch. I don't even have a Mac.

This option is only for MP3s and videos!

OK, nice and slowly now...
1. Try dragging the icon to the desktop and double-clicking it. This should automatically unstuff the file. If not...
2. Find Stuffit Expander using Sherlock (or whatever). It's probably in Utilities/Internet/Internet Applications/Aladdin, or something like that. Drag your file onto the Stuffit Expander icon and that should do the trick

Sit = StuffIt

Sit files are archives (one or several files compressed into one file to save space for transfer over the internet).

Sit stands for Stuff-it, the program used to create and expand the archives.

You need the Stuff-it expander to open sit files.

Go to www.stuffit.com/expander/ to download it free.
