Ive download the installer for Limewire from here, and downloads.com, and both have been corrupt, Ive talked to other people and they have also had this problem, can ANYONE tell me where I can get a version that works?!? Mac users dont get any of the good stuff as it is, and when we do, it doesnt work, its really annoying. I wish these people could do something to get it to work.

I had the same problem initially. However, the problem was solved when I increased the memory to the installer application. hope this works for you.

Click on the installer icon once and then click on File and go down to
Get Info and over to Memory. I increased the Preferred Size to 395
and it worked for me.

You know what? Same exact thing happened with me. I was using Mac 8.6.
We recently bought Mac 9 and I upgraded it, the installer worked smoothly like it was made. That's all I could tell ya
