Corrupt Installer, but only for me?
 

I have an iMac, running Mac OS 8.6. Whenever I download Limewire, unstuff it, and try to run the installer, I get an error message of:

"The installer is corrupt. The zip archive contained in this application is corrupt."

I've downloaded Limewire successfully on a different, more recent iMac, and it unstuffed and installed fine. What's going on?

I too have an imac rev.b with 8.6 that also reported a corrupt file.I solved it by increasing the memory requirements to 1 or 2 meg for limewire installer under file menu>get info>memory.the program installed and appears to be working fine.Hope this helps. Deck97
