LW 2.x.x>Mac OS 9.1...Location Addresses? Re-Search? Re-Connect?

LW 2.x.x and OS 9.1
OK, I give up...I'm not a LW nor a Mac expert but also not a LW newbie (LW 1.4)
and for me, ALL 2.x versions of LW are missing(?) the following:

1) I cannot make the search window show location addresses...it shows bit rates (instead?)
1a) AND, where is this "change view button" or "toggle" on the "search tab"?

2) Have not been able to use the "re-search" option...can't get the menu to select it.

3) When I've been "disconnected" from LW, a "connect" selection does not reconnect me.

4) If a download stalls & "force resume" is used, LW does not try other file sources
nor does LW retry the original location
(when "download any" has been used from the search window).

5) Resumed downloads NEVER pick up where they stopped...They ALWAYS start at 0%
even when downloading from the (same) host or location address.

I know that the answers to #1& #2 involve a work-a-round for a PeeCee "right click";
LW FAQ (6-25Q) says that "option>click" is the Mac equivalent(?)
LW FAQ (6-20Q) says that a "command>click" will do it(?)

Adding more memory to LW just increases the unused "cushion"
and doesn't seem to change LW performance...LW still uses only 40Mg on my Performa.
I've searched through the LW forums and seen references and some solutions(?) to my MIA's
the info has not solved the problems for me, yet.
The LW user guides are not only out of date but the "screen shots" used are not of what I see
on my old Mac; I'm also pretty sure that the FAQ's are written by a PeeCee guy who does not own a Mac.

Between conflicting FAQ's, vague forum answers, out-of-date user guides,
Mac 9.1>Mac OSX>PeeCee variables,
and a program that is great (but sooooo sloooow),
I've option>clicked & command>clicked everything in sight
but nothing seems to unlock the hidden treasures.

Currently I have LW Pro 2.1.3, 2.4.1, 2.4.4 and LW 1.7 installed...
and although it does not have the recent LW 2.x.x "bells and whistles",
LW 1.7 (at least) does not creat problems 3,4 &5.

If you have any suggestions please note my Mac system info (below);
please be specific (LW version>Mac OS) as to the solution.
And, if other LW users on a similar platform are having similar problems, let me know;
Misery loves company.
Thank you

1) Command-click on one of the column headings in the results area to get a listing of the possible columns.

2) Command-click on the tab in the results area that has the name of your search and the number of results. There should be a option named Repeat Search or thereabouts.

Been There...Done that (prior to my post, many many times) and I have now retried both
LW 2.4.1 Pro and LW 2.4.4 Pro according to your suggestion...

and the results for both LW versions are:

NO "Repeat Search Option"
NO "Change View Option"
nor will the location addresses show in the search results window by command>click(ing)
search window column titles...any of them.

I am re-installing LW 2.2.1 Pro and LW 2.3.3 Pro for testing and I will report results.

Should not have included LW 2.1.3 Pro in my original post as
LW 2.1.3 DOES have "change view" and "repeat search" option(s) for my Mac.

Re installed and tried LW 2.2.4 Pro & LW 2.3.3 Pro with your command>click suggestion:

LW 2.2.4:
does not react to a "command>click" for anything.
But, double clicking on a search results tab or in the search results window
does reveal a drop down menu which includes an option to repeat the search.
Nothing works or is available to get "location addresses" instead of "bit rates"

LW 2.3.3:
does not react to a "command>click" for anything
Also, now, double clicking does not work for the search options menu found in LW 2.2.4
And again, nothing works to get "location addresses" instead of "bit rates"

Of course, both LW 2.2.4 and LW 2.3.3 have the old "Options Screen Problem"

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...&threadid=8610

But the posted (techno font) work-a-round did work!
And, LW 2.4.x solved it; I guess that this is a situation of "get a little...give up a little"
