![]() Hello! If each and every mp3 file that you download show up as text documents then something is wrong with your computer but hopefully that is not the case.If it is not then there can be two reasons for this behaviour and they are the following: 1.You have downloaded an actual text document from a cheating Freeloader that puts up a lot of text files filled with a lot of junk just so he can get better download results for him/her self. 2.You have downloaded a music file that misses the proper extension so your computer wont recognize it if it originally came from a PC computer or the file has a proper extension and is originally from Audiogalaxy (www.audiogalaxy.com) these files are binary and in raw data format so you manually have to put them in your iTunes library. To do that do the following: Open up iTunes Go to File>Add to library now browse to the file in question and highlight it when you find it then click the add button then from the script window that appears click OK now browse trough your iTunes library and you will find the file once you find it double click it and it should play just fine. Notice! You should upgrade to the most recent version of LW and you will get less of this kind of problems. The newer versions writes better code if the file name lenght is longer then 32 characters which is the maximum in classical Mac OS.This can also be the cause for some files that just wont play right if the special characters that LW incorporates instead of some of the original letters is incorrect. This function in LW is there so that you can have more then 32 characters in LW library. The newer versions work better in this aspect.
