where the heck are my downloads?

I just upgraded to Mac OSX.

1) i copied my shared folder over..however limewire for Mac OS can't find it (when I open limeware, there are no songs in SHARED)
2) i just downloaded a couple songs and played them. However, when I open shared in the finder...NOTHING. I see the shared folder, but there is nothing in there.
3) how can you create subfolders in filed (ie one for movies, one for pictures, one for songs? In the OS 9 version, after I downloaded something, I could then file it in the appropriate folder so that only the newly downloaded files were the the main shared folder view. (instead of having one, large shared folder list which makes it hard to find stuff)

I use osX myself but instead of copying the shared folder just open the preferences in limewire and change the upload and download to the os9 folder instead of the new os. It works great and all your subfoldes arestill intact. You can also make an alias of other folders and put them in your shared folder to make it it part of your shared folder. Like an alias of your itunes music folder.
