For both Limewire 2.5.4 Pro and 2.5.5 Pro, I'm now having Limewire consistently crash with a Type 11 error immediately after launch, before the GUI appears. This is under MacOS 9.1. Is this a know issue or conflict? Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? Many thanks.

Probably an extensions conflict. Go into your Extensions Manager and choose an extension set with fewer items enabled, restart and see if that prevents the crash.

I found the problem. The limewire.props file had gotten hosed, and was blank. Limewire was apparently unable to deal with this. Restoring a backup of this prefs file got things working again. Many thanks for your suggestion, though booting with a minimal extension set did not solve the problem.
