Fixing Generic mp3's That Won't Play

Hi All,

I found that some people are having issues playing back downloaded mp3 files via the "launch" button in the "Shared" directory folder in LW.

The fix is simple:

Open Apple Menu-> Control Panel-> File Exchange.
Scroll down to "mp3". Select the application you want to use to playback mp3 file (ex. QuickTime, Audion) and MAKE SURE that there are no other listings for mp3 that have "???" in the file type. In other words, you should have only one listing for mp3 and one application assigned to play it. Anything with "???" should be REMOVED to not confuse the system file mapping.

Cheers
