Unhappy Can't launch mp3s

I have Mac OS 8.6 and don't have a player to my knowledge. I try to play the file on the Limewire player with the "launch" button, but nothing happens.

For Mac , only the OSX version of Limewire has an internal player so you'll need to download an external player. The best is Apple's itunes, although it uses quite a lot of system resources. Go to this page and follow the instructions to install and download itunes on OS8.6:

http://www.wormintheapple.gr/downloa...tunesHelp.html

Once you've got itunes up and running, do the following:

1. Go to shared in the library window in Limewire and note the location of your shared files.

2. Go to this folder in the finder, select it, type commamnd M and drag the alias onto the desktop.

3. When you want to put your downloaded mp3s into itunes, open itunes and the shared folder beside each other and drag the mp3s into the itunes window. If they refuse to appear in itunes, drag them onto itunes associator first.

Angry ok, now what?

I downloaded all suggested files, but all I got was a bunch of .sit files that don't do anything. I have Stuffit Deluxe, but I can't click on anything to launch files, everything is grey.

Try dragging the .sit files onto the Stuffit Expander icon.
