Downloads stall then progress dissapears when re-opening

I'm running Limewire Pro which I've paid for twice! It's fairly cheap but is it better that basic? I don't know.
Anyway, when a file I'm downloading drops off due to nobody still connected, the next time I launch Limewire, my progress indicator is empty, older versions used to keep track of how much of the file you have already!!!!!!!

I might not mind if thoses files picked back up on a regular basis, but it is rare!

All in all I am happy using Limewire but these new versions are pushed out too fast for your own good

Help!

One version of Limewire askes, How long did I want to hold on to incomplete files. Since my Limewire was so slow at D/L them I put 350 days. Then I found it was my Zone Alarm firewall that was holding everything up. Check and see if you have that option of how long to hold files before deleting. Just needed you to know that someone was listening.

wow this is an old thread. :D

Yes that is a good finding Silk. :) I have my incompletes set to 9999. And yes, unconfigured firewalls can greatly reduce your download & sharing abilities. ;)

(This thread was started about the time I started using LW. I didn't join this forum until about 20 months later.)
