Limewire causes computer to pause

I have limewire for mac. I have a G4. When I use the program my computer frequently pauses for 5 to 30 second periods. I can still move my mouse but cannot do anything else. There appears to be no pattern to this pausing. Can anyone help me or explain what is happenning?

Please see my comments towards the end of the "mac-oriented gnutella hosts? " thread.

We have had trouble reproducing this problem internally, but it would be a great help if you could assist us in diagnosing the problem more precisely by following the steps outlined in the "mac-oriented gnutella hosts?" thread.

Thanks.

I've been having this same problem, but I can't find the "mac-oriented gnutella hosts." How do I get there?

The "mac-oriented gnutella hosts? " thread is the thread that is listed approximately six threads before this one (before in time, down on the list =D).
