Hi, I'm new to Limewire (about a week) and have used Macster and Napster before (primarily music downloads). Other than the freezes and slowness, the most aggravating problem I have is the program seems to change the name of the MP3 so I don't know what song it is anymore. It inserts an exclamation mark and a number into the description, so all I get is the first letter of the song name if I'm lucky.
Recent exaples: Switchblade Symphony #9D92C.mp3 Darling Violetta - Ca#9E72D.mp3 How do I fix this? With unfamiliar songs this poses a heck of a problem. A few of them show the name of the song when dropped into Soundjam to play, but most stay the same. I also lose all the great info window comments that Napster kept (like "EP Remix by so and so"). Thanks for the help. I'm running a Mac G4 with system 9.0.4 (no I can't upgrade to 9.1 right now, it's not compatible with my printer). |
