cant launch downloaded programs!!!

I recentlt downloaded a couple of programs and when i hit the Lunch butten nothing happens. I also tred moving them to my desktop and opening them but that didnt do it either. When I double click the program it just opens Limewire. help!

Try dragging the files to the StuffIt Expander icon, which will decompress them.

I tried that and it Stuffit said it was a limewire file and wouldn't try to open it.
It had a .sit file name, but if you looked at the kind of file it was it also said lime wire.

Are you sure that the download was fully complete? Sometimes when it still has the LimeWire icon its not fully completed and you need to complete it.
