Buttons disappear!
 

Some days ago, my Limewire (v2.6) has started to behave quite oddly:

Now, after starting the program, i see a blank window with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in it. Sometimes, after a while, a single tab or button or ad appears, sometimes, after waiting at the right spot with the mouse pointer, i am able to actually click an (invisible) button or tab.

This was a gradual degenerating process. It started with the Limewire symbol disappearing during a search when it should have been rotating. Then the red/green connection control light disappeared, and so on.

I have already upgraded to LW 2.7. But (as if i didnt expect that) v2.7 doesnt recognise my old partial downloads (Maybe due to the new hash politics), so i still have to work with v2.6. v2.7, on the other hand, works fine.

Any Ideas??

when this happened on the v2.6 I had, the only solution I found was to re-installe the whole version. It happened a few time, so I kept the LWinstaller on my disk.
