Unhappy apologies

My apologies to admin for the language I used in my post. If people would just think, and check other areas in the board, we wouldn't have to keep repeating ourselves.

Default that's nice

I think if 300 people don't see the solution in another of hundreds of threads then maybe that is communication problem that needs to be further addressed other than getting your knickers in a twist.

I think this poster meant "other areas in the board" like, maybe, the Installation Forum. As this is an installation problem. Adam (developer) has replied. He has apologized. The Pro version was supposedly fixed yesterday and the free version today.

The main problem is that people start new threads repeating the same thing that has been posted over and over. Yes, this is a legitimate gripe. And yes, it should have been fixed sooner. But, people need to do a little bit of their own research too. Not just come to these forums YELLING and demanding that their free software be fixed NOW!! The Pro users, on the other hand, can demand. But, the people trying to help here have nothing to do with LimeWire except for the fact that they use it too.

Thank you Julie Z. When I downloaded the program from the posted site, then ran the installation, it worked for me. I haven't had any other problems (other than my extremely slow dial-up internet connection) with it, and I wish I could post a copy of the installer I have so that ya'll could download it. It really does work.

Hi, I tried the installer from the posted site and was still having the same problem. As for the fix for the free version being posted today, did that already happen or is it going to happen? Because I downloaded that installer (from the limewire site) today to upgrade.

For right now I'm going back to 2.6, thanks to the person who posted the site to get previous versions!
