Question LW Pro 2.7.11 (NoVM)???????

OK, on my download page for LW Pro 2.7.11 using (NON OSX) I have a choice of:

Macintosh****** 9.3MB (which includes MRJ) or

Macintosh (NoVM) 2.1MB or

down below says try "this installer" 4.57MB which is without MRJ.

My question is: What exactly is the "Macintosh (NoVM 2.1MB) installer????????

PS: I have done a "Search" on "NoVM" and did not find an answer other than it was the (non MRJ version) which doesn't seem to make sense.

Hmmmm... good question. I would think they are one and the same, but the different file sizes are interesting. I've always been told that the "No VM" is for those that already have MRJ.

Smile Upon further investigation.............

I downloaded the "(NoVM)" which when complete leaves a folder (LimeWireWinNoVM Folder) with MRJ stuff inside. The "Read Me" says:

LIMEWIRE 2.7.11 Pro Pro WINDOWS README

==================================

To any Linux and Unix users, go get the LimeWireLinux.tgz installer.

To run LimeWire 2.7.11 Pro on Windows, you will first need to install the Java2TM

Runtime Environment, v 1.3.1. You can find these downloads at:

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.3/jre/

Then you should be able to run LimeWire by double clicking on the "RunLime.jar"

in your LimeWire directory.

If that doesn't work, you can also run LimeWire by typing:

java -jar RunLime.jar

in your LimeWire directory.

We sincerely hope you enjoy using our product.

Best Wishes,

LimeWire Team
