Program stalls at startup

I also have the same problem. I have a iMac 266, Mac OS 8.6. I have installed 3 times and every time it stalls on "Loading User Interface". I am a first time user and am very disappointed that I cannot even use my new software. Can someone please help me.

download the latest verison, 2.7.13.. Fixes the start up problem
