Exclamation i dont have an audio player!!!!!!!

please help me! i just downloaded limewire and I have no way of playing my songs. There is no audio player, no Player option in the Tools/Options menu, and no "To Playlist" button at the bottom of the Library screen. Nothing happens when I press Launch either, or select "Launch File(s)" from the File Menu. I don't understand why or how this is happening. I am very anxious to listen to my songs and I would like a reply ASAP!!!!!! Thank you and reply soon

There is no player for the Mac version. You need to have a program of your own. Such as QuickTime, iTunes, MusicMatch, etc.

I'm not really sure how to explain it. It's always been my default player. I think you can go to File Exchange (Under the Apple Menu) and select mp3 extension and then edit and choose QuickTime as default application. I'm sure there are more detailed instructions here in the forums. Try doing a search of these forums for "Setting default player" or "open in quicktime" something like that and you might find some more useful information.

Good luck and sorry I couldn't help more.

I would've suggested the same for QuickTime, but when I went through all the preferences, I didn't see the option to set it as default player. Hmmmm... maybe different versions. I have QT 5 on Mac OS 9.1.
