missing software component for MPGs?

I am having the same problem with MPG files. The computer ( a Mac G4 / 9.2 version OS) seems to be missing some component? "Couldn't open movie-name because a software component needed for movie can't be found"

Can anyone help with this? Thanks

Most likely the movie you're trying to watch was made on a Windows Computer. Many of those just won't work with Mac (to my knowledge, any tech gurus here to correct me? :confused: ). The Windows users just seem to like to screw with us simple Mac users.
