Sometimes it takes a while. If you quit (or force-quit) and restart it, it will load correctly.

Unhappy interface problems

I'm having the same problem, my interface won't load, usually the only thing that shows up is the search button in the bottom left-hand corner; and sometimes it won't even let me quit the program. I end up having to restart my computer. Does anybody have a solution?

If the Search Window is showing (at least partially), then it sounds more like a memory problem.

How much memory do you have allocated to LimeWire? You need to increase it from its default.

Quit LimeWire. Click (once) on the LimeWire application to highlight it (the original, not an alias) and then go to File and choose Get Info and choose Memory. Change the memory settings to 10000 KB. That should fix your problem.

I was assuming that the first posters problem was that when starting, it would get stuck at "Loading User Interface". In that case, you need to force-quit and restart it. Usually...
