I thought I posted a reply to your earlier post, but can't see it. Hmmm.

Anyway, could you let us know the versions you are using of OS, ram, and machine?

As trap_jaw says, gnutella is under reconstruction for now, so changes will take a while. btw, Kazaa uses a different network (don't ask me !), so comparisons are difficult to interpret.

You don't have to pay for the volunteer help you get here. The Pro version offers some support, but I find the posters here very helpful. Donate to Pro to encourage development (I think one of the developers is now working on an OSX box), and if the Pro Support doesn't help, don't be disappointed.

Filesharing on Mac requires patience, and more patience, and is still pretty experimental. I've read that 10% success is pretty good. Some users leave their p2p apps running for days, which improves the "reliability" rating.
