Default Which java MRJ is best? (mac)

hello there.

Which Java MRJ is best for my G4 on MacOS 9.1 with LW??

Is it 2.2.4 or 2.2.5?

And those periodic freezes - when do you think the will be history??
Would be nice...

By the way - LimeWire is amazing I think. Looks good, multiple searches, well-done download-monitoring, resuming......

Thanks a lot for bringing this app and the nets to us... hands up!

As far as I know, there is no MRJ 2.2.5 for LimeWire. So, unless there's a newer version that I don't know about, MRJ 2.2.4 is definitely the best one available.

In terms of the system freezes, we have had a lot of difficulty reproducing this problem on our own. Any Mac users experiencing freezes who read this post could do us a big favor, actually. If you hold down the "control" key as you click on the LimeWire icon, a popup menu will appear. If you select the "Open" option and CONTINUE TO HOLD DOWN THE CONTROL KEY UNTIL A CONSOLE WINDOW APPEARS, you will be able to see debugging output in that console window.

At this point, you can continue to run LimeWire as you normally would. When a freeze occurs, you will hopefully see some output appearing in this window, such as "OutOfMemoryError" or some other type of error.

It would be a tremendous help if users could report any errors they see in this window, and it will help us solve this problem much more quickly.

In terms of the LimeWire 1.5 release, we have experienced several delays, and it is somewhat unclear when we will be releasing the new version at this point, although it should be quite soon.

Thanks in advance for any assistance with debugging the Mac freeze problem.

I have the same problem w/ g4/400, I also get a fragmented
version of the screen when I change screens in LW. Sometimes
LW freezes recover and sometimes I can ctrl Q.
