Moving from Lime wire to i unes

I am at a loss on how to move songs from lime wire to itunes to add to library. I used to be able to do it with aimster and can not figure it out. Is it my lack of knowledge (likely) or a problem with my Mac.

Open iTunes and select convert to mp3 from the advanced toolbar, then choose the file(s) you want to add to your library
