the problem with the software isn't anything we're not doing, it's because the software is buggered. there's nothing you can do, just re-download the old version here http://www3.limewire.com/download/2.8.6/

other than that i hope Limewire is quick to realise this and solve the problem by re-relasing the updated version again. in all their haste to move everyone on to this newer version they didn't check it for bugs with the Java which we can see is the case here.

With the amount of negative reactions since friday toward LW 2.9, yes something isn't right for the classic platform. The address d03 provided is good, but you can always try http://www3.limewire.com/download/2....ireMacNoVM.bin if you want a recent version. Because since friday people downloading LW are downloading 2.9.8.2 wich seems to cause problems to OS9 users. It looks that a 0.0.0.2 can change a lot of things error wise.
