How can i get my downloaded files to play on itunes???
 

I have a macintosh and i listen to all my music on itunes from where i burn it onto cd's and such. Some of the music i dl from limewire goes into my itunes folder and i am able to play it from there, some other songs however, do not go into there and i can only play it from limewire where i am not sure if i can burn it or not. I can't figure out the difference between the songs that go into itunes and those that don't, if anyone has any suggestions on how to make it so they all go into itunes i would really apreciate it. thanx to everyone!!!

Songs that at first does not want to be played in iTunes but rather with another application usually have another resource ID asscoiated with that file.

Just try this open up iTunes and the in one of your playlists just drag and drop the file in one of those and it should start to play the song and be part of your playlist. Another optin is to use the Add To Library option inside iTunes. From the File menu select Add To library and then navigate to the file in question and select it then just look the file up in iTunes Libary listing and then select it and it should start to play just fine.
