Suddenly can't play stuff I download! HELP!

I was using LimeWire OK till yesterday -- yesterday all the (music) files I downloaded were blank (no icon). I paid for and downloaded the software you are now pushing (which is just like what I had, download 4.5).

Today I downloaded a bunch of songs -- got the same results as yesterday,
blank, no icon, CAN"T Play Them. Please help!

icon doesn't matter. Get info for song and choose open with application and choose the app you want to open the file. If nothing will open it, then you have a fake file I guess.
