my new files won't launch

i encounted a problem a few days ago. any new files that i have downloaded won't launch. they will download and then show up in the shared list but when i hit launch nothing happens. all of my old songs and videos work though. has anyone else had this problem?

You haven't described what kind of files you download, but have you tried opening them from your shared folder, not just from within LW?
