Limewire will not open, because Limewire could not be found. A little help, please? I'm running Mac OS 9.1, and I've downloaded Limewire at least 3 tiems now. It installs fine and dandy, no problems at all, but everytime I try to open it, I get the following message: "The application "Limewire" could not open, because "Limewire" could not be found." Now I KNOW all the files are in the same folder. I have no idea why it does this. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -blackMAGE |
Sounds like you're opening Limewire from an alias (shortcut) or an outdated dock alias. Try opening it directly from the application. |
I am. If it was an alias, it would have two more buttons instead of "OK:" they would be "Delete Alias" or "Fix Alias." Don't have them. Been opening it straight from the Limewire folder. ;/ |
That sounds bizzare. It sounds as if something went wrong during installation. Try doing a full uninstall, and delete everything off of your harddrive that has "lime" in it. Do a search for "lime", delete all the limewire stuff, and then install again. |
