I cannot connect limewire but i have installed it and as u notice i am abel to go online normally, i have an router but it shouldent be any problems? I just downloaded limewire for Mac OS Classic..
Please help me. -Molle |

You cannot connect to gnutella? Try clicking connect.
Also, try disabling your router on port 6346. |

Ofcourse i tryed push connect !!
![]() But were can i disabel my router? In settings/Advanced ? I tryed 'force IP' and 'listen port-number 6346'. If you can help me i would be delighted.. Molle

First off, do you have a router, a hardware router in order to get your internet? If so, there should be some sort of software interface (either a utility of some sort, or an interface via a browser) that will allow you to open (enable a pass-through and forward) port 6346.
Also, if you have Mas OS X, you will have to disable the personal firewall which can be found under sharing of the system preferences. If you have any other form of software fierwall, that too, will have to be disabled. |
