Limewire bounces in dock then stops and does not load

Any help is welcome.

I am running Panther and downloaded LimeWire current version: 3.6.15. It has installed, but will not run. The program bounces in the dock then stops. I also downloaded the Java 1.4.1 update and nothing.

Please help!
