Angry Loading Core Components…

Loading Core Components…

I was using the latest free version of LW the other day and it worked fine. After it started to give me trouble, I re-installed it, which took several tries before it work. Now whenever I launch the application, it gets to the message "Loading Core Components" and freezes. Any idea how I can fix this? I just installed MRJ 2.2.6and that didn't help. Suggestions please?

Blue and white G3, 350 mhz, 640MB RAM, Mac OS 9.1. AOL Dialup connection

Try allocating more RAM to the new java MRJ. My guess is that the new java isn't getting enough RAM and freezes at that part.

Give Limewire a healthy boost in the RAM sector do. That'll probably do the trick.

Thanks so much for the suggestion. Excuse my ignorance, but how do I raise the memory on MRJ? I already did it for Limewire.
Thanks!

Search for Java, and find the application. It is called Java MRJ or Java Runtime (if my memory of OS 9 recalls) and you can allocate more RAM to it.
