LW used to work fine for me. Then one day, there was a notice upon launch that new features had been added (although they hadnt, but simply there was another screen trying to entice me to set auto launch for LW, which again I did not), and ever since this happened, LW "unexpectedly quits" just seconds after loading. I've tried reinstalling to no avail. Any help guys!?!?

P.S. I've noticed a few problems in this forum that seem to be big issues. Was considering going Pro, but now it's def. being reconsidered.

Well, first off, what are your specs?

I assume you're using OS 9, since you're not posting in the OS X section. Try giving more RAM to Limewire as well as to Java MRJ or Java Runtime.

What error message number do you get what Limewire unexpectantly quits?

This is a support forum. All the people here have problems. Tens of thousands of people use Limewire successfully without any problems ever. We have a hundred here, maybe, maximum, at any one time. You really shouldn't judge the value of the program by looking at these forums, because you are specifically looking at the place where problems are diagnosed and hopefully resolved.
