Limewire 1.6 (Mac)

Hi,

I downloaded 1.6 yesterday and installed on my mac.
I am getting the same message as you are. I e-mailed Limewire and they suggested going back to 1.4b. However when I click on the link to 1.4b it goes to 1.6. Does anyone know where to download 1.4b from the Limewire site?

Hi,

Just to add to my previous reply. I allocated 45Mb Ram to Limewire 1.6 and now sometimes it starts.
However, I find that if I go to "Options" and change any setting and click "Apply" it just sits there with the button highlighted and you have to click "Cancel" to escape, with no changes being applied. Any mac users out there with any help?
Going back to 1.4b seems to be the only way out at the moment

You might want to uninstall it first.
Just clicking the uninstaller helps.
Agaist the "I don't safe your input"-Problem, just click exit, like every beginner and it saves. Just the missing macintosh-specific functions are disturbing here (like command-q and command c etc.)

Are you up to MRJ 2.2.5? That may clear things up. I did get mine to startup with those problems. I just got a type 11 error code so there is still work to be done on LimeWire.
