version 4.0.5 isnt working...
 
version 4.0.5 doesnt seem to work for me... ive tried everything... is there anyway i could still download an earlier version? (I have mac OS 9.2.2 by the way) Thanks, danielle.

I don't know about earlier versions, but version 4.0.7 has just been released. You might have more luck with that one.

You didn't give any info about what the symptoms were & what it is that isn't working. Have a look at the responses given in the thread called 'Unexpected quit type 1 error' which was just recently posted. One of these ideas 'might' be able to help you!

I did read on the OS X section of this forum that other people were having problems with 4.0.5! (I happily use 4.0.4) Even the engineer remarked that version 4.0.5 had a problem. Either try version 4.0.7 or ...
Also on this forum I found this note:
the old free installers for all platforms are stuffed into one large archive (~70mb). http://www9.limewire.com:82/download/ has the 3.8.10 and .11 installers.

I have a 9.1 mac .I can download 4.0.7 but I cant open it as it says I dont have the applications or something(not that comp literate) and ive lost my old version of Limewire Helppppppppppppppp
