| OK, this is starting to make sense to me. downloads.dat CAN be backed up and probably could be used as a replacement to restore partially downloaded files that turn red as I am 100% positive has happened to me. Still, I don't see any way to restore those partially downloaded files to the state they were in previously without a backup.
