In LW's Prefs, look down the list for iTunes (no. 10). If you click enable iTunes, as soon as you complete dwnlding mp3s, iTunes will open & copy them to its own library (if you quickly switch over to iTunes, you can see it copying it.) On my computer that means I end up with 2 copies (1 in LW dnlds foldr & another in iTunes library.) Alternatively you can use iTunes to manually Add items (mp3s/folders of mp3s) to its library using CMD+O (don't use Import). Which version of LW do you have? It sounds strange that the 1st suggestion isn't working for you. Go back to LW Prefs & unclick & click it on again, press Apply. The most recent version of iTunes will also play m4a files (roughly similar to mp3 but more space efficient & supposedly HQ). Try these suggestions, if it doesn't work, gt back to this thread.

Don't panic, calm down. We'll sort this out with any luck! Try the other suggestions I made. Particularly with LW's Prefs. It's sounds basic, but sometimes LW's Prefs don't always click into action as they should or revert back to default. Reset it! Failing that, add them manually with iT. Failing everything, do a complete check on your computer. And I mean a permissions recheck/reset, check your computer with all available utilities (eg-Norton, DiskWarrior & TechTool particularly) & restart. I'm sure it'll eventually click into action. In OSX there's sometimes little nitty-gritty things that don't seem to work at the time, but suddenly they do (a week/2 later for some strange reason.)
If i had thrown my comp for everytime I had a problem with installing/setting an app properly in osx I would have gone thru a couple dozen at least. It works out in the end somehow. Run a few other apps to take your mind off it, then re-try.

Uhh, make sure you also click 'Apply' after you tick the iTunes support box: some people tend to forget its existence...

Thanks for the help. After talking to apple tech support i had to reload my software. After doing this my itunes starting to act right and now i can transfer tunes from lime.

It looks like my libary in itunes was corrupted.

Thanks for the feedback and help.
