.bin files

hey,

Downloaded a .bin file on my mac (OSX panther 10.3.1). On double clicking the file toast initiates (I guessed this from the icon the file was displayed with). But , toast just allows me to burn this file to disc.

Tried using stuffit expander 8 but am informed that the file is not compressed or encoded, and that I could attempt to open usin stuffit expander...

How do I open this file?

Thanx
danski

.bin file mystery solved

For anyone, else out there who didn't know the answer to my last posting...i,e how to open a mac .bin file:

do this: using toast(i used titanium 6//i don't know if earlier versions support this feature) go to the 'Utilities' menu> select 'Mount disc image' and select your bin file. Mac OSx mounts the data...
