Limewire Pro versions (4.0.8)

What is the difference between the two versions for Mac Classic?

One is a 12.1 MB file and the other is an 8.1 MB file which says "No VM" (does this mean you are not running virtual memory?).

I have a B&W G3/350 and am running OS 9.2.2 with 832MB of memory, is one version preferable to the other? I've used both versions and in the "about Limewire" scrolling message they both say "version 4.0.7". IS there an actual 4.0.8 version ? It seems like the 12.1 MB version runs slower on my machine but that may be subjective. I've actually gone back to the free version of Limewire as it seemed to run better.

Thanks

One will be the so-called english version installer & the other international. The only difference is that the international version comes with it's own Java version & forces your computer to use that version & the installer can be switched to any language. Both versions of LW are identical & both can switch languages. I don't know which version java comes with the classic international version. Probably best if you use the english version so you can at least have your java at the most up to date version for os9. VM is virtual memory. The larger java for the international LW will use more resources & is unnecessary! From what I can ascertain, 4.0.8 is the final classic version. That's according to THIS page (but that's the free version.) I guess one day you may need to think about OSX.
