Green Ticks! Hi ya! I wonder if anyone can help with this - How do you get rid of the green ticks in the search listing once something has been downloaded? I'm using Limewire PRO on a Mac running OS 9.2 Hope you can help :-) Many thanks Ray |
Why the heck did you post this in the windows Xolox forum???? That forum has nothng to do with either LW or mac! doh  Your post is highly confusing. If you're refering to the markers that indicate you've already dwnlded that file, then I'm not sure why you'd want to get rid of it. You can go to LW's menu Tools>Downloads & tick 'Autoclear completed dwnlds' & this will automatically remove your 100% dwnlded files from your dwnld list. Press apply button if you decide to use it. |
Hiya Lord, Sorry for posting in the wrong section, and sorry for confusing you. :) Yes, the Green Ticks I was referring to ARE those which indicate that I've already downloaded a particular file. Thanks for the info, but I have tried what you suggested and it hasn't worked. Do you happen to know where the information on my completed downloads is stored and how I CAN get rid of those ticks? Thanks for all your help :-) Ray |
Once the files are moved out of your LW dwnld folder, there's a better chance the ticks will go away. The LW Dwnld folder's location can be fund out by going to (for OS9:) LW's menu Options>Saving OR (for OSX:) LWs Prefs>Saving. This will tell you the name, location & path of your LW Dwnld folder. |
