os 9/limewire 4.2 wont connect

i have everything updated......limewire pro 4.2 (newest verison) for os 9.2 doesnt connect..

any help?..i think theres something wrong with 4.2 for os 9

true.

Apple, java, and recently LW gave up on java for OS 9. LW for OS 9 is frozen at 4.0

You might get LW 4 to work on OS 9 (some do), but if not, OS X is getting to be the only practical way to do filesharing on the Mac.
