I am quitting limewire forever today. I have an imac. All the reasons in the mac thread I've experienced, but mostly (after the dream that was napster) there is nothing for a grownup to grab on limewire. If it's filthy and perverted, something foul you may want to do to a sheep, you got it, but just try for Ethel Waters. The search is so particularly.....awful. If I ask for Yo-yo Ma, I will get 1000 or so results, 4 of them may be Yo-yo Ma(I say may be) the rest, bear no reasonable resemblance whatsoever. Alas, we will tell our grandchildren of the wonders of napster, but it is no more. There is no icon p.o.'d enough for the way limewire makes me feel! pshewww, now I feel a little better.

Fine quit and have a winge but i think its great. i have an imac and find that the searching is quite amazing.
Dont put your probems on the net mate, keep them to yourself.

I've never seen any filthy stuff when searching for audio - well, not that I would recognise. Monitoring the incoming searches is quite different - but at my age I've seen it all before - boring init.

If this Ethel Waters is a singer - why didn't he just type in the artist name?????

Or am I missing something here?

There is an adult content filter feature. I wonder if he even tried to use it. If anyone wants to enable it, go to Tools > Options, click on the Filters tab, and check the box that says "Ignore Adult Content."
