How to disable LimeWire launch at startup?

LimeWire launches each time I startup my Mac (OS 10.3). I've unchecked the connect at launch box in the LW preferences and searched around the Mac System Folder, but can't find anywhere to kill this thing!!!##@@!!

Can anyone help?

Thanks!:(

check the preferences again--there are two checkboxes for startup connections (one for LW startup connections, one for system startup).

Too, you can remove startup items in the OS X system preferences->accounts->startup items

lime wire start up at login

I just had this problem on my imac snow leopard, and spent many hours trying to stop lime wire from starting up at login I tried every thing the tec support people told me to do but nothing would stop it. then a tec person from Brisbane told Me to put the put COOKIES AND CACHES INTO THE TRASH, AND SECURE EMPTY TRASH, and this fixed it straight away and solved the problem. am so happy, hope this helps you. Two ways for LW 5. 1. LW's preferences -> Advanced, Uncheck option to Run LW at System Startup.

2. Go to System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Items & remove LW from the list.

I tried both of these ways, but it still kept starting up at log-in ,so I emptied cookies and caches into the trash and it worked perfectly. thanking you kindly sam fergo. :yahoo::)
