When I try to install limewire it's giving me a error saying... "classic cannot find a Mac OS 9 system folder on your hard drive." I have a MAC G5 OSX. I think maybe it's because I have a 250GB HD and a 300 GB HD. I reformated the 250 and reinstalled OSX from the installer CD. does anyone know how I could maybe add this system folder. I really need help here. all help is greatly appreciated.

Which version are you trying to install? If you want to install the Classic LW version 4.0 then you'll need to have an OS 9 or earlier operating system installed. It's not a good idea to use LW Classic in the classic environment under the gide of OSX. Better to start up in os 9, etc.
Why not just install the OSX version? I have both versions on my computer but only use LW Classic after having started up in OS9. The OSX version LW is much more efficient & loads incomplete & shared files much much faster. |
