Default Mounting Failed error-LW 4.6?Mac OS X

I've tried downloading LW 4.6.0 (Mac OS 10.3/FIREFOX & SAFARI), but keep getting "mounting failed " error. Any suggestions?
thanks

If the installer is corrupt, remove all old installers, clear Safari's cache, and try again.

Try mounting a different .dmg file. If it fails, there's a problem with Disk Utility.

http://www.mager.org/LimeWire/LimeWire.html has an alternative version of LW that uses a different installer. See if it will mount.
