How do I open blank "limewire document" for Mac OS 8-9 users

People using Mac OS 8 & 9 occasionally have the the problem of their downlded files being blank documents that the Mac operating system doesn't recognise. This can be due to long file names or the file's attributes have been stripped. The ways to fix these issues can be seen from the following 2 links (which also may link onto other possible solutions.) Click on the following links:

Blank Audio documents

For people with audio problems with iTunes with the blank document issue. Try iTuner which is a now unavailable simple drag & drop utility. You will need an unzipper program since forum attachments do not allow .sit files. StuffIt Expander or some other free ones around can do the job; eg: MacZip (very good free utility for zipping or unzipping!)
