Hi! I'm using Lime Wire on an iMac with iTines. I can download
but I don't know how to upload so others can download my mp3's! In the "library"section the iTunes folder is empty and I have a lot of music that should be there, anyone have an idea as to what i'm doing wrong?
I appreciate any help. you can e-mail me if possible

What os are you using? It is pretty easy to add file's, I am new to the network,but I Can get around os9 and osx well enough. I am using 17c at the moment { limewire works best for me on osx }

OSX limewire - go to tools/options/add directory/ then select the folder you want to share, then click apply. I don't know if you are using limewire? but if you are using osx it is very good. Don't have any exp. with other programs.

You also select your download folder in the same fashion.

Mac's arent just for breakfest any more
also look for ITunes 2 search sit or img along with mac and its abbrev's.

Peace to all,Life is too short!

Thanks for the info!!

Teno,
I'm using OS9.1 and Limewire, I'm starting to have some success and my library for iTunes is a little better as far as sharing goes but I'll try what you mentioned and see if it offers more files to others on Limewire, I don't want to be a cheap freeloader!!!
Just curious about OSX, I haven't installed it yet mainly because a few people I know who I would consider Mac experts have had problems with it but sounds like you're pretty happy with it. I've never installed a new OS but may do so soon
Thanks for responding to my post!
:D
Peace,

Hi!

Simply locate the folder with your Mp3 files (might be "music" in your iTunes folder or something like that). If you donīt know where you have stored your Mp3īs, you can just press [apple] + r when a song title in iTunes is marked and the filder will come up. Then make an alias of that folder ( [apple] + m ) and put that alias i your "shared" folder in the LimeWire folder.

Thatīs about it!'
