Default RE: AVI using QT

Hi prozack1312,

Playing AVI movies with QT has always been a hassle. QT 7 does not support AVI anymore. For older versions of QT, there are Divx codecs available that would allow you to use Divx doctor to convert AVI files into divx QT files. But even with those, it was not always 100% and you needed QT Pro.

My recommendation is for you to download (free) VLC Media Player 8.2. It is one of the most versatile media players available - especially free. It plays: .mov, .dv, VOB, (DVD files) WMV (most), AVI, MPEG 2, .mpg, .mp4 and most audio files as well. (Not Apple's m4p though - ACC)

Download at http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

You won't be dissapointed.

Good Luck,

Murgatroid
