Can't connect I installed LimeWire twice already and everything seems to be fine until I try manually connecting. Is it supposed to connect automatically when I run the program? I tried to connect to the Audio and North America connections, and it starts to connect, but it never fully gets there. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! -Jason jayce923@ufl.edu |
the exact same i have re-installed limewire twice as well. it does not connect automatically at setup, whenever i try to manually connect, in the top white box under the "connections" tab, it flashes "connecting..." then dissapears with no result or error message. could an employee please help me, and apparently others, with this problem? |
others if this problem is not fixable, are their any download programs that are compatible with my ibook, on Mac OS 9.1? i just want to download some music! does it really have to be this hard? i have been trying to get programs like limewire working for 2 weeks now. PLEASE HELP! |
me too Limewire used to work fine for me but now I have exactly the same problem as you guys. It just sits there and does nothing. The only way I can get a reaction is (as a previous message suggests) is to try to connect manually having typed in the router.limewire.com host or host.gnutellanet.com. I did have some success with Aimster and Mactella, although I preferred LImewire. But now none of them works! What's the deal here? |
