 fixing file types goto to a software page like macupdate or versiontracker and download a program called Filetyper and its companion Make Autotyper. Filetyper will let you work on an individual file to change its type and creator codes - compare an iTunes file (or whatever your preferred MP3 player is) to the quicktime mp3 file (or whatever) and you can change it from one to the other. Using Make Autotyper you can make a droplet program that will do this automatically - so you can drop all 150 mp3 files on it and have them changed to youre preferred file type. This does not actually change the file mind you - so a corrupt file is still a corrupt file, but it changes the designated program for reading the file apbatt  |
