whenever I restart LimeWire it never remembers my preferences, shared folders, download slots, etc.
Why is this? any ideas? I tried clicking OK and Apply, what is the difference? Please help, Ziggy |

this happened to me too. here's how i fixed it.
the new version(1.8) lets you do the command-q function to quit the program----DONT EVER DO THAT. if you press command-q(or apple-q, whatever), using the keyboard shortcut, it won't save your prefs. you hafta manually close the window or click exit in the menu. otherwise your prefs wont save. |

Hey that works just great. At first I was pleased to see them using some Mac standards but now I won't touch the damn command Q. Thanks again for posting your workaround.
